KaloTopia partners with retailers and affiliate networks. When you click a Buy Now link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from that retailer — at absolutely no extra cost to you. The price you pay is always the same whether you go through our link or not.
What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a standard way for websites to earn revenue. When a website partners with a retailer, the retailer gives that website a special tracking link. If a user clicks that link and completes a purchase, the retailer pays the website a small percentage of the sale as a commission.
This is how KaloTopia is able to offer its price tracking service completely free to users. We do not charge you anything — instead, we earn a small commission when you buy a product through one of our links.

How It Works on KaloTopia
Here is exactly how affiliate links appear on KaloTopia and when we earn a commission:
Buy Now Buttons
When KaloTopia finds the lowest current price for a product you are tracking, a Buy Now button appears on your dashboard. This button links directly to the retailer selling the product at that price. This link may be an affiliate link.
Price Drop Alert Links
When we send you an SMS or email alert because your target price has been reached, the link included in that alert to go and buy the product may be an affiliate link.
Barcode Scan Results
When you scan a barcode in-store and we show you prices across multiple retailers, the Buy Now links for each retailer in those results may be affiliate links.
How We Earn a Commission
We earn a commission only when you click one of our affiliate links and complete a purchase on the retailer's website. We do not earn anything just from you clicking a link. Commission rates vary by retailer and product category and are set entirely by the retailer — KaloTopia has no control over them.
The commission comes out of the retailer's margin — it does not get added to your bill. The price you pay as a customer is always exactly the same whether you arrived at the product through KaloTopia or went to the retailer's website directly.
Our Commitment to You
Affiliate commissions are how we keep KaloTopia free, but they never influence the results we show you. Here is what we promise:
We always show you the lowest price we can find, regardless of which retailer it comes from or whether that retailer has an affiliate program with us.
We never inflate prices, hide cheaper options, or push you toward a more expensive retailer because it pays a higher commission.
Our price tracking, alerts, and search results are based entirely on what is cheapest for you — not what earns us the most.
You will never pay more by using KaloTopia. Our links take you to the same prices you would find going directly to the retailer.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure is made in accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials in advertising, as outlined in 16 CFR Part 255. These guidelines require that material connections between a website and the companies whose products it features be clearly disclosed to readers.
